Once upon a time I was offering one class a month, and more importantly, one type of class every month. Then, along came 2020 and everything changed! Since virtual classes in 2020-2021 gave me the opportunity to connect with new stampers far and wide, I want to continue offering a variety of classes so that EVERYONE can participate! Here are the class types I currently offer.
Zoom Crafting sessions
- Sessions are free
- 2-3 sessions per month, starting at 7 or 7:30pm (Pacific)
- Anyone is welcome to attend
- Use supplies you already have on hand
- Participate from anywhere!
- Pajamas are encouraged 😊
These Zoom sessions are a win-win-win! No cost, no commitment, and very little prep time – spend time chatting and crafting, and enjoy learning a variety of layouts and techniques!
It’s always fun to see everyone’s different papers, stamps, and colours – everyone’s project will be unique!
Types of Projects
Mystery Stamping – I’ll publish the measurements of cardstock and paper you need to prepare in the days leading up to the event. Find the details here on the Virtual Events page and in the weekly newsletter. Prep your supplies and then join the Zoom meeting to see what we will make together!
Stash Cards – Our aim with a Stash Card session is to use up our hoard of Designer Series Papers (aka pretty patterned papers) by making somewhere between 4 and 20 cards in one session. The designs will use simple layouts and techniques so that you can replicate them yourself. No stamping or embellishing required – add these cards to your stash, then finish them when needed for a specific occasion!
3D Projects – We might make a desk organizer, a treat box, a card folio, or a stationery set! You’ll know the project ahead of time and be able to prep your supplies according to the directions. Then join the Zoom meeting so we can assemble it together!
All About… – Are you curious about a certain technique, tool, or product? Let me know and I’ll teach you all about it! Past topics have included the Stamparatus, watercolouring technique, and Stampin’ Blends. Suggestions are always welcome!

In-Person Card Classes
- Make three cards using current Stampin’ Up! products
- Scheduled 2-3 times per month (each class makes the same cards)
- Class fee of $10, or purchase $20 in Stampin’ Up! product to have fee waived
- Recommended to take an Introduction to Stamping Class before attending
- Held at my home in South Nanaimo
- Enjoy a night out, socialising with other crafty folks
- All tools and supplies are provided (except adhesive, which can be purchased at class)
My monthly cardmaking classes are always fun and well-attended! You’ll get to make three terrific cards using products from the current Stampin’ Up! catalogues. Everything you need is provided, and all the prep is done for you!

Introduction to Stamping Classes
- Two sessions a month, at various days/times
- Make two cards
- No fee to attend
- Learn the stamping tools, techniques, and lingo you’ll need to feel comfortable at my ongoing classes
- Held at my home in South Nanaimo
- All tools and supplies are provided
This is the perfect way to start your cardmaking journey in a comfortable, low-pressure environment. Make an easy card or two while learning the introductory steps of stamping.

Your Very Own Crafting Party
What’s more fun than crafting? Crafting with your friends! If you’d like to introduce your fun new hobby to your friends, extended family, co-workers, neighbours, etc., I’d love to help you put together an event that’s just right for you.

- Make two cards using current Stampin’ Up! products
- Scheduled at your convenience
- Class fee of $10, or purchase $20 in Stampin’ Up! product to have fee waived
- No experience necessary
- Held at my home in South Nanaimo
- Enjoy a night out, socialising and having fun
- All tools and supplies are provided
- Guests can choose to place orders
There is no obligation to order, but if your guests do choose to order, you will earn hostess rewards – that is, free product! You can use the rewards on exclusive hostess items, or on any other product you like.
